Credits are the currency for syncing documents to your vector store. Each operation (parsing, chunking, embedding) costs a specific number of credits. This pay-as-you-go model means you only pay for what you actually use.

Every new account gets 250 free startup credits when you sign up — enough to sync about 12 documents at no cost. No credit card required. When your startup credits run out, you can purchase top-up packs or get a Lifetime Deal for monthly credits.

No! Purchased credits never expire. They remain in your account until you use them.

You won't be able to sync new documents until you purchase more credits. Your existing synced documents and vector store data remain accessible. Consider a Lifetime Deal for automatic monthly credits.

A standard document sync costs 20 credits. Your 250 free startup credits cover about 12 syncs. After that, a Standard top-up pack ($25 for 3,000 credits) covers 150 syncs, or get a Lifetime Deal starting at $59 for 500 credits every month.
